Anyone who knows me will tell you I've always had an eye for all things creative. From a young age i was always playing "beauty salon", decorating my room, or doing arts and crafts. It was no surprise when i told my family i was going to cosmetology school.

 

I have been in the beauty industry since 2002 and my passion for this industry continues to grow. Inspired by current trends i can then customize for my clientele. In 2017 I became an independent stylist and created, "Hair Couture by Kristen LLC". I am a Goldwell Master Color Specialist. I specialize in color, foiling, blondes, balayage, vivids creative color, Global Keratin treatment, and cutting thick hair. All while maintaining the integrity of the hair.

My favorite part about being a stylist is the bonds and relationships I get to build with my clients. Becoming much more like family sharing laughter and tears through out the years. When I'm not behind the chair you can find me with friends or family enjoying a bottle of wine. Spending long weekends in the summer on Block Island or in Newport RI. Anywhere by the water is my happy place.
